Designed as a complete performance system, Series 3 combines distance-driven engineering with precise internal weighting, carbon fiber elements and advanced McLaren construction to create powerful launch, stability and responsive control through impact. The result is an iron that delivers explosive speed and forgiveness while still giving players the refined look and feel expected from a premium forged-style iron.
With a Metal Injection Molded frame, McLaren Structural Mesh, carbon-fiber bonnet and refined sole geometry, each Series 3 iron is engineered to position CG with precision, stabilize the clubhead and improve turf interaction through the strike — giving you distance, control and confidence across the set.
Series 3 uses McLaren’s Metal Injection Molding process to create a complex internal geometry with precise weight distribution. This advanced construction allows proprietary metal blends to be formed with extreme accuracy, unlocking the McLaren Structural Mesh to optimize mass while preserving strength, stability and a clean player’s distance profile.
The carbon-fiber bonnet across the back of the iron is inspired by McLaren’s racing and automotive heritage, but it is more than a visual detail. Integrated into the structure, it helps manage vibration at impact to refine sound and feel while housing the calibration weight system used to fine-tune head weight without compromising performance.
The sole geometry is engineered to reduce drag and improve turf interaction through impact. Camber, leading edge curvature and heel cut relief work together to help the club enter and exit the turf cleanly, maintaining clubhead speed while reducing excessive digging for a more stable strike.
