A custom fitting in golf is one of the best investments for your game. When clubs are customized to your body type, swing, and playing style, you get better accuracy, longer shots, and increased comfort. Many mistakes on the course are due to improper equipment, and with the right adjustments, you can play more consistently and enjoy the game more. Custom fitting is not just for professionals – even beginners greatly benefit from playing with clubs that fit perfectly. By optimizing your equipment, you maximize each shot and can develop faster as a player.
What sets us apart from others in the industry? We get this question quite often. The time aspect is important to us. We never rush through a fitting. We always ensure we have enough time before, during, and after a fitting. The selection is another strong point for us. We want to have the best conditions to find the right clubs for you. That's why we have the largest selection of components for fitting in Northern Europe. We work with nearly all manufacturers when it comes to heads and shafts. Our knowledge and experience are also key when you choose to do your fitting with us. We have many years of fitting experience. We also continuously educate our fitters in both materials, analysis programs, and biomechanics. Follow-up is also something you get for free when you buy your clubs here with us. A follow-up fitting is always included when you buy clubs from us. This means you can come back after some time, hit some shots, check length & lie, and make sure the clubs perform as you wish.
A custom fitting is a process where golf clubs are specifically adapted to your unique physical characteristics, playing style, and swing technique. The goal is to optimize your equipment to improve both performance and the playing experience. Instead of using standard clubs designed to fit an average player, the clubs are customized to meet your exact needs. During a custom fitting, several aspects of your game are analyzed, including:
Your swing: Experts look at your swing speed, tempo, ball strike, and ball flight.
Physical measurements: Factors like height, arm length, and grip size are measured to ensure the clubs fit your body.
Shaft and flex: The length and stiffness of the shaft are adjusted to match your swing speed and strength.
Clubhead angle and loft: These are adjusted to optimize your face contact and provide the correct ball flight.
The process is often conducted with the help of advanced technology, such as launch monitors and high-resolution cameras, which provide detailed data about your shots. This information is used to adjust or select clubs that are a perfect fit for your game. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, a custom fitting can give you better control, longer shots, and more consistent results. It’s not just about getting the right equipment – it’s about playing with confidence and enjoying golf on a whole new level.
As with everything, it varies depending on the type of fitting you have booked. But we always start with an initial conversation, so we understand what you want to achieve from your fitting. Is it length, control, more height, etc.? Then we start hitting balls. Our fitters analyze and engage in dialogue with you throughout the process. With Northern Europe's largest selection of components, this process sometimes takes a bit longer. That's why a good dialogue between the player and fitter is always important. After the fitting is completed, we summarize what we've determined and place an order. Within 1-3 weeks, you will have your new clubs in your hands and be ready to take them out on the course.
Golf shoes are always a good idea to wear, so we have the same stability and ground height as when we play on the course. If you’re doing a driver fitting, it's good to bring your current driver with you. The same goes for an iron fitting – we would prefer if you bring your existing clubs.
We use both Trackman and Foresight GC Quad. Some tools are better for certain purposes, so we use both machines depending on the type of fitting we're doing.
