How to adjust your Titleist driver to achieve optimal results for you

In many cases, people talk about the shaft in the club being the actual engine and the most important component when it comes to how you hit your driver. There is some truth to that, but it is the best combination of the shaft and the head, as well as the head adjustments, that can truly help you hit your best drives. One should not underestimate the possibilities of adjusting the loft/lie on the driver to achieve the best result.

Below, we show you the adjustments you can make with the Titleist SureFit hosel to optimize your game.

SUREFIT HOSEL

The Titleist SureFit Hosel features a sleeve and ring, each with four settings. The sleeve settings are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, and the ring settings are lettered A, B, C, D. There are 16 unique loft and lie angle combinations.

Adjusting the SureFit hosel

Insert SureFit wrench into hosel screw and rotate counter-clockwiseuntil hosel becomes loose, move adjustment ring to the desired setting, and tighten clockwise until you feel and hear the wrench "click". If the screw feels like it it binding, stop and realign components

THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT :

Start in the standard position: A•1 (RH) or D•4 (LH).

Move up or down in the grid to adjust trajectory.

Move left or right in the grid to fine-tune direction.

+/- .75° denotes driver/fairway settings; +/- 1° denotes hybrid setting.

*LOFT = EFFECTIVE LOFT with a square face at impact.

Hopefully it's now become clearer to you how to proceed when setting up your new Titleist driver.

Good luck!
