Many golfers know that loft on a driver affects ball flight – but few know how much and in what way. In our latest video we go through what
actually happens when you raise or lower the loft on your driver, and how it can change both your distance, spin and shot pattern.
The loft is not just a number on the clubhead – it affects the entire club's dynamics. When you increase the loft you not only get a higher trajectory,
you also alter the club's face angle, launch and in some cases the ball's starting direction. Similarly, lowering the loft can produce a lower flight and more roll, but it can also affect how you strike the ball.
In the video we show how small adjustments in loft can make a big difference on the course and in the simulator, and what you as a golfer should consider before changing the settings
on your driver. We compare different setups, measure the results and discuss when it's worth making the change — and when it can do more harm than good.
