Unsure of which loft & bounce to choose?
LOFT
When choosing loft on your wedges it is important that you get even length in the hits between the wedges. To get that the starting point is to get correct loft interval on the wedges. Start by making sure which loft your Pitch has. Example: Pitch = 46 °, then the wedges should have a following lofts: 50 °, 54 ° and 58 °.
BOUNCE
Find the correct bounce for you. (High bounce = higher degrees).
What fits best on you:
Bounce – High vs Low
BOUNCE
BEST SUITED FOR
CHARACTERISTICS
HIGH BOUNCE
Softer turf, fluffy sand and thicker grass. Also suitable for players with a steeper angle of attack who tend to take more turf.
More forgiving through the turf. Helps prevent the club from digging and generally provides more consistent contact.
LOW BOUNCE
Firm conditions, hard sand and tight lies. Often preferred by players with a shallower angle of attack who like to open the clubface.
Cuts more easily through firm turf and tight lies, offering greater shot versatility. Requires more precision to avoid digging.
If both options suits on you - pick mid bounce.
