At his California Putter Studio, Scotty Cameron has been designing, milling and building putters that perform under the world’s most demanding conditions for the game’s greatest players. With the Special Select line he’s taken another step forward in a decades-long career creating the finest in milled steel putters. Created specifically to offer the same sleek, classic shapes preferred by touring professionals, each Special Select model has been designed and milled in the USA to the same exacting performance specifications demanded by our game’s greatest players. Performance balanced weighting expands on Scotty’s use of customizable sole weights to tune putter performance and feel at all lengths. While overall putter head weights remain unchanged, the incorporation of tungsten for the blades and stainless steel for the mid-mallets produces a larger sweet spot and enhanced stability in each model. Returning to the roots of sound and feel, each Special Select model is designed and milled in the United States from a block of solid 303 stainless steel for legendary performance and playability with consistent sound and soft feel.

The Flowback 5

With its sweeping curves reminiscent of popular classics like the GOLO 5, the Special Select Flowback 5 blends the familiar with the modern, as every design aspect from the topline to the sole of this mid-mallet performer has been updated. Designed with a mid-bend shaft configuration and a full shaft of offset, the Flowback 5 includes stainless steel weights and an integrated 6061 aluminum sole plate for optimal weight distribution with a near-face balanced setup to limit toe flow for a straighter, more mechanical, stroke. Scotty’s signature back cavity three red dot pattern has a look unique to the Special Select line with a recessed milled circular channel, polished and then outfit with hand-applied red translucent paint creating a striking “cherry rings” feature.
